The forecast for SAT, 2 JUN:
Partly Sunny;
74 degrees high
52 degrees low
Winds: NW at 8mph. Gusts: 14 mph.
I know some of you have been on Operation Trail Clean-Up but here are some reminders:
1. Bring garden or yard work gloves (or something equivalent). I'll bring extras.
2. Wear work clothes - preferably long pants - depending on how adventurous you are you may find yourself picking up trash in the brush...protect those running legs!!!
3. Sunglasses
4. Bring a water bottle.
5. Put on sun screen.
6. Wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty.
7. I’ll bring the bags..
FYI: the Park Authorities know we'll be out on the trail. They'd like us to separate out glass, aluminum, and plastic - recycle is good. We'll drop off the trash bags at the mid-point down the hill where the bathroom shelters are.See More
